Chris Wood (aka Mes) is a producer and DJ based in Tampa, FL with over 25 years of industry experience. Offering an extensive catalog of retro and contemporary music selections, Chris curates each DJ set with standard favorites, nostalgic beats, and rare musical picks to keep an inspired vibe throughout any event.

Each set for restaurants, cocktail lounges, events, private parties, or art shows is selected from a collection of over 1,000 vinyl albums and countless song files. Genres include: Jazz, Lo-Fi, Soul, Rock, Indie, Hip Hop, House, Nu-Disco, Pop, Alternative, and more.

As part of duos The Crate Brothers and Lab City, Chris has co-founded favorite local nights such as Rock and Soul, Emo Night Tampa, Monday Night Vinyl, Open Format, Mix Tapes, and Guilty Pleasures.

Chris is also an on-air host on WMNF 88.5 and the drummer for the band Florida Night Heat.
